Charity / Donation Request

Charity / Donation Request

Each year, we receive more requests for donations than we can possibly respond to or contribute to. ArborTrek is committed to supporting charities and events in our local community, but our resources are limited.

There are many charities and events that we would like to support, but we have to be very selective and work inside our means. To reduce the pressure on our staff and to make certain that we are investing our time and money wisely, donation requests are reviewed quarterly. These meetings are generally conducted in January, April, July, and October. Decisions about which events and charities to support are only made at these meetings. Organizations who submit requests early are most likely to receive a positive response.

Inquiries regarding sponsorship and participation for conferences, festivals, and public events including rental or use of our mobile climbing wall, temporary zip line setup, or booth setup, should be made separately to Michael Smith at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it." >This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..

All requests for donations, sponsorship, or charity event participation should be made using the form below. Prior to submitting the form, please take a minute to review the Tips to Consider section below.

Tips to Consider:

Priority is given to programs supporting local businesses, schools, charities, and events that provide exposure to potential clients. We are also partial to events that support the environment.

We typically do NOT provide cash donations, but instead, donate tour vouchers that can be raffled or given away.

We are happy to co-host charity events and work with groups to create exciting events that will generate media and PR attention. With such events, the requesting agency should be prepared to offer PR and media support, as well as, volunteers to assist with event operation. We rarely are able to support large events during peak season between mid-June and Labor Day.

Donations can be paid only to qualified, tax-exempt 501c3 non-profit charitable organizations, as defined by the Internal Revenue Service, not to individuals.

In considering your request, we place priority on events and donations which provide ArborTrek media exposure to the company. For each $100 in tour voucher value provided, we generally seek direct exposure of our services and product to 1,000 qualified persons (those capable of affording and participating in our tours). In detailing your request, please include a detailed accounting of benefits to be provided.

Tour Photo Packages

VIEW PHOTOS OF YOUR TREETOP ADVENTURE!

Whether you're looking for photos of your recent zip line canopy tour or just browsing to learn more about our treetop adventures, you've come to the right place.

As a guide, one of my favorite parts of the treetop experience is watching clients' facial expressions as they lean off a platform for the first time, step off on one of our long zip lines, come buzzing in for a landing, or feel the joy of doing something they didn't think they could do.  While photos aren't part of our treetop adventure packages, our guides requested that they be able to capture photos of our clients and share the tour from their point of view.  To honor this request and to help our clients relive and share their stories, our guides do their best to capture photos and share them here.

The photos included here can be viewed through our website or Facebook.  You're welcome to download them, post comments, or share them with friends.  Have at it.

DISCLAIMER AND USE OF PERSONAL CAMERAS ON COURSES:  All of the photos taken here are free of charge.  We make no representation or warranty to photo quality and make no commitments to post them or to maintain them.  Due to lighting changes in the canopy and adverse weather conditions that can prevail on the course, high quality photos can be difficult to capture.  Guests are welcome to bring personal cameras on the zip line canopy tour provided that the camera has an attachment point and can be properly secured to their harness. Cameras and phones are NOT allowed on the treetop obstacle course as taking photos while on the course can lead to tour delays.  The more physical nature of the treetop obstacle course also creates a higher likelihood of damage to cameras.  Non-participants on the treetop obstacle course are welcome to take photos from the ground, but must adhere to posted signs and remain on trails and durable grounds.
